Welcome to the Delta Quilters Guild

Delta Quilters is a non-profit organization focusing on advancing the art and skill of quilting while benefitting the various charites we serve.  We have over 100 members and donate many quilts each year to local hospitals and organizations.  The guild presents an annual quilt show, offers monthly workshops, and organizes an annual quilting retreat.  We enjoy sharing our knowledge and experience as well as our completed (or almost completed) projects and support each other's creativity. Learn more about the guild here.

We encourage anyone with an interest in the art of quilting to join us.  Visitors are always welcome at our monthly general meetings.

Delta Quilters Guild meets at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) on the 2nd Monday of each month at:

Golden Hills Church
2401 Shady Willow Lane
Brentwood, CA 94513

While we love children and pets, we are unable to accomodate them at our meetings or workshops.

Quilt Show Update

Don Linn to be Guest Artist
We're thrilled to announce that Don Linn, acclaimed quilter, teacher, and author will be our Guest Artist at the 2010 Quilt Show.  Come meet Don at the quilt show on October 23 & 24 at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds.  More details are on the Quilt Show page.

The new electronic entry form is ready to use!
As an incentive to submit your quilts and other items early, we will have a special drawing at the July, August, and September meetings for the entries received by the date of each meeting.

For entries submitted by the July meeting, you'll get 3 chances put into the jar.  You'll get 2 chances for each entry submitted by the August meeting, and 1 chance per entry received by the September meeting.   All chances will remain in the jar until the final drawing in September.

The prize will be worth $35 in July, $25 in August, and $15 in September, so it "pays" to get your entries in early!

Secret Pals
Secret Pals is an optional member exchange program in which participants give small gifts periodically to their assigned Pal.  The fun part is, you know who your Secret Pal is, but your Pal doesn't know who you are!  It's a great way to share your passion for quilting with another member of the guild.  At the end of each fiscal year, the Pals are revealed, and the program begins again with new Pal assignments.  If you'd like to participate, click here to complete the entry form.
