Quilt #10.  This quilt was presented to Kevin S.  at our quilt show in October.  Kevin was a Sgt in the Navy, and served 3 tours of duty as a medic in Iraq, flying with Marine units during those tours.  He's now in training to be a surgical
nurse.

Quilts of Honor is a national project providing patriotic-themed quilts to returning soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.  Delta Quilters is proud to participate in this program.  We have now completed several quilts that are waiting to be turned in and presented to a veteran.  Each quilt is given with a "journal" which contains messages from the quilters who made the blocks and quilt to express their appreciation for the veteran's service.

Members interested in making blocks or entire quilts for this program should contact:
Sandie Garcia or Becky Haggard Co-Chairs.
